As the Head of Communications for the Institute of Research and Dialogue for Peace [8] in Kigali, Ariane Inkesha shares the Institute’s research findings with the public via publications, videos, radio broadcasts, and online platforms.
While in the U.S., Ariane worked at D.C. based Search for Common Ground - Project on Race [9] where she helped expand their news service's core mission of improving Muslim-Western relations by contributing articles and helping to facilitate a dialogue on race in the U.S.
After returning to Rwanda, Ariane began to implement her follow-on project which aimed to contribute to peacebuilding efforts in the Great Lakes Region by empowering youth in analyzing peace challenges, sharing best practices, reflecting on innovative ideas and developing peace projects through a collaborative online platform. She plans to strengthen the online platform while identifying ten young leaders from neighboring countries to support the network and further its aim.
