Alasgar's bio

Alasgar Mammadli received his bachelor degree in law from Istanbul University of Istanbul, Turkey in 1996 and his masters from Public Administration Institute for Turkey and the Middle East (TODAIE) in Ankara, Turkey in 2001. He worked as a solicitor in Istanbul, Turkey and as a lawyer at Internews and IREX Azerbaijan in Baku, Azerbaijan.

He is specialized in media law, access to information, election law, constitution law and human rights. He conducts regular training for lawyers and journalists. He also teaches Media Law at School of Journalism at Baku State University and is a member of the Expert Commission at the Open Society Institute Azerbaijan.
