This fall, youth from around Central Asia and Eastern Europe arrived to study at American universities to pursue their dreams for developing their home countries. Through an intensive academic program, internships, and community service experiences, these students are building the skills, knowledge and attitudes they will need to become successful and productive global citzens. The Global Undergraduate Exchange Program in Eurasia and Central Asia [7] is a program of the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs [8] of the U.S. Department of State and implemented by IREX.
