IREX is pleased to announce opportunities to internationalize your campus. We are now accepting applications from universities and community colleges to host outstanding undergraduate (UGRAD) students from Eurasia, Central Asia, Pakistan, Kosovo and Crimea during the 2013-2014 academic year.

• Crimea Undergraduate Exchange Program [15]
UGRAD students are motivated youth leaders from underserved populations. Through U.S.-based training and practical experience in leadership, life-skill, civic engagement and internships, the students return to their home countries empowered to change their communities for the better. Since 2002, more than 250 host institutions from 49 states have partnered with IREX to welcome UGRAD participants to their campuses.
“The impact of these students on our campus is immeasurable,” notes a current UGRAD host. “Reports from the faculty consistently comment on the high quality of academic performance by these students and how this often pushes our home students to perform at a higher level…I know they take with them a sense of hope and idealism about their own futures and a spirit of confidence and commitment in making meaningful changes in their own countries.”
You can learn more about hosting a UGRAD student and download application materials by clicking one of the links above. Send questions and applications via e-mail [16], fax (202-628-8189, ATTN: Global UGRAD) or mail (ATTN: Global UGRAD) to the IREX address at the bottom of the page. The deadline for U.S. universities and colleges to submit the host application is Friday, March 29, 2013.
