Reynold Samuel
Reynold Samuel works as a Human Development Officer within the Ministry of the People and Social Development where he focuses on the developmental aspects of the country's Targeted Conditional Cash Transfer Programme (TCCTP). Reynold helps administer food cards to impoverished families with a conditional developmental aspect of the program which is focused on providing developmental workshops, psychosocial, skills and employment training and opportunities.
While in the U.S., Reynold worked at Peace First in Boston where he created and facilitated bi-weekly training sessions for AmeriCorps members working in schools, helped administer Peace First’s conflict resolution and peacebuliding curriculum, and aided in the yearly evaluation efforts of the organization.
Reynold's C.H.C (Curbing Household Conflict) follow-on project, included within the initiatives of the Ministry’s Human Development Unit, will help create safe and conflict managed households within the communities of Trinidad. It will be piloted in 13 Regional offices within Trinidad starting with 15-20 individuals per regional office.
