Olga Kravtsova
Olga Kravtsova, Russia, is the founder and director of the Journalism Advancement and Support Center (JASC), a new Russian NGO created in 2012 to advocate for the freedom, the responsibility and safety of journalism, to monitor media rights and its violations in Russia and neighboring countries, and to provide training and support to journalists working in extreme and traumatic situations. Before founding JASC, Olga served as the director for the Center for Journalism in Extreme Situations (CJES) and as one of the coordinators for the Frontline Russia project, implemented by CJES in partnership with the Frontline Club in London. Additionally, she is a psychologist and former Fulbright Scholar in residence at the Dart Center for Journalism and Trauma. She was also a fellow in 2011.
