Izabella Marton
As Network Director at the Hungarian Anti Poverty Network, Izabella Marton aims to empower low-income individuals through trainings and community mobilization. Izabella is responsible for partnership building, communications, advocacy, and fundraising.
During her CSP fellowship, Izabella worked for VOCAL New York in Brooklyn assisting in the organization’s efforts to mobilize communities around issues related to social injustice and poverty.
After returning to Hungary, Izabella focused her follow-on project on incorporating community organizing approaches into Hungarian organizations' work. She developed a training curriculum for civil society leaders on organizing and has conducted several interviews with membership organizations to better assess their needs for community organizing trainings, which will inform the module moving forward.
