Gulzira Amanturlina

Gulzira Amanturlina is the Director of the Eldany Charitable Foundation, a non-profit organization that defends the civil rights and human interests of persons with disabilities and their families, specifically mothers. All of the foundation’s projects address the issue of finding alternative livelihoods for persons with disabilities. Gulzira plans to provide a series of trainings for mothers of disabled children in order to improve their self-esteem and self-respect.
While in the U.S., Gulzira worked at Wisconsin-based Access to Independence, helping to implement a youth transitions curriculum for high school students with disabilities, participating in family trainings, and supporting efforts of peer support programs.
