Francis Mpagi
CSP Leader - Uganda
Before participating in CSP, Francis Mpagi worked as Project Manager at the Network for Community Development Services (NCDS) as a human rights advocate for at-risk populations, including HIV/AIDS-affected individuals, orphans and vulnerable children, low-income women, and widows.
While in the U.S., Mpagi worked with AID Atlanta on HIV prevention education initiatives with middle- and high-school students throughout the Atlanta area.
Upon returning to Uganda, Francis left NDCS for an opportunity to work with UNHCR in a refugee camp. His follow-on project, which aimed to lower the risk of HIV infection, other STDs and pregnancy among middle and high school students, was put on hold due to this new professional endeavor.
