Armytage Mumbwali

As Democracy and Civic Education Officer for the Youth Development Organization, Armytage Mumbwali mobilizes communities and educates them on civic issues such as good governance and human rights-based development. He is creating and mainstreaming initiatives that encourage collaboration among civic leaders, social service providers, and community members, and plans to identify and analyze factors preventing effective community participation in governance.

While in the U.S., Armytage worked for the Alaska Center for Public Policy participating in various local assembly meetings, community forums and trainings centered around engaging citizens in public policy development.
