Ana-Maria Sinitean
Ana-Maria supports the U.S. Scholars Programs, particularly the Individual Advacanced Research Opportunities (IARO) program and Short-Term Travel Grants (STG). Besides working on academic research support and higher education projects, Ana-Maria also provides support on Youth Civic Engagement and Dialogue in Romania and Moldova (YCED).
Prior to joining IREX, Ana-Maria spent a year teaching English in France. She received her M.A. in International Development Studies from George Washington University with a concentration in Human Capital and Workforce Development and holds a B.A. in International Studies and French from the University of Chicago. Ana-Maria is fluent in Romanian and French.
