Amy Bernath

Amy manages the Youth Theater for Peace program in Kyrgyzstan and supports implementation of the Edmund S. Muskie Graduate Fellowship program.
Prior to joining IREX, Amy worked as a Peace Corps Volunteer teaching English at Berdyansk State Pedagogical University in Berdyansk, Ukraine. She also taught English in Cape Coast, Ghana.
Amy earned a Master of Arts in Political Science with a focus in international relations from Ohio University. She holds a BA in Political Science and a BS in Integrated Social Studies Education.
You may not know...
As a college student, Amy worked at an ice cream store and, over the course of a summer, sampled each of the store’s 40+ flavors.
