Youth in Development Work Group
Youth Violence: Prevention vs. Rehabilitation
IREX and the International Youth Foundation (IYF) are pleased to invite you to the first Youth in Development Work Group event for the 2009-2010 season. Experts in youth violence will present a debate on where we should invest our development resources—in programs that address root causes of youth violence, or programs that mitigate its effects and rehabilitate youth. Representatives of domestic and international initiatives will encourage us to look at youth violence as a global phenomenon and challenge us to seek transformative solutions.
