IREX Publishes 2001 Successes of Pro-NGO Program

IREX is proud to announce the publication of a programmatic annual report detailing the achievements of the Promoting and Strengthening Russian Nongovernmental Organizations Development Program (Pro-NGO). The report contains a wealth of success stories and statistical information regarding achievements in citizen empowerment and innovative approaches to the development of NGOs.

Pro-NGO is a three-year project sponsored by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) to strengthen grassroots nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) in Siberia, Southern Russia, and the Novgorod and Samara regions and to assist NGO resource centers in these regions to improve the enabling environment for NGOs.
