Regional Library-Information Center Opens in Gakh

Regional Library Information Center was opened in Gakh region, August 8, AzerTAc correspondent reports.

Deputy US Ambassador to Azerbaijan Jason Highland, in his speech, expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Culture, heads of executive authority and department of culture of the region for assistance rendered in implementation of this program within the framework of the joint project of Public Affairs Section of Embassy and International Researches and Exchange Board /IREX/.

Gakh library information center is the sixth one opened within the framework of this project. Similar centers will be also opened in Salyan, Neftchala and Devechi regions.

Deputy head of the Executive Power of Gakh region Ziyafat Khasiyeva, head of department of culture Nasir Omarov thanked representatives of US Embassy for opening of this center.
