University of Wisconsin-Green Bay Welcomes New Fellow

Writing in his Muskie application essay, Rustam Ahmedov of Uzbekistan noted that, “American universities offer the highly developed training I need to achieve my goals.”    Rustam now has the opportunity to experience American university training firsthand as a 2010 Muskie business fellow at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.

Rustam discusses his future plans in a recent article on the university’s website.  After completing the Muskie program, he would like to return to Uzbekistan to pursue a career in textile manufacturing.  Rustam dreams of owning his own textile manufacturing business and contributing to Uzbekistan’s economic development as an independent entrepreneur.  He hopes to collaborate professionally with his wife, a wedding dress designer.
