Teacher Fellows from Pakistan Arrive in US

A group of teachers from Pakistan arrived in the US recently and IREX welcomed them into the Teaching Excellence and Achievement Program (TEA), which brings outstanding secondary school teachers from around the globe to the United States to further develop expertise in their subject areas, enhance their teaching skills, and increase their knowledge about the United States. This is the first group of Pakistani teachers participating in TEA. All are secondary level teachers of English as a foreign language and will engage in intensive professional development at one of two host universities: California State University, Chico or University of Northern Colorado.
We at IREX wish the teacher fellows the best of luck during their program!
TEA is a program of the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the US Department of State and implemented by IREX.
