Take Back the Narrative: Young Men and Gender-Based Violence

For IREX’s observation of the 16 Days Against Gender Based-Violence this year, we sat down with Ray Dinkins, Prevention Coordinator at Women's Crisis Support Team (WCST) in Josephine County, Oregon, to discuss his violence-prevention programs with high-school-aged boys.
WCST is a host for the IREX Community Solutions Program (CSP), a professional development program funded by the Department of State for the best and brightest global community leaders working in Transparency and Accountability, Tolerance and Conflict Resolution, Environmental Issues, and Women and Gender Issues.
Ray’s work has a tremendous impact on young men in Josephine County, and the partnerships he's developed through the CSP program allow for this impact to spread both domestically and internationally. We salute Ray and WCST for increasing awareness about violence prevention. IREX is proud to be their partner in making a better world for all.
