New Interactive Map Shows Impact of Muskie Fellows Across Eurasia

Muskie 20 Years In recognition of the 20th anniversary of the Edmund S. Muskie Graduate Fellowship Program, the Muskie Eurasia Map highlights the widespread successes and community engagement of Muskie alumni.

The map pinpoints where these leaders have served their communities, made innovative achievements, and continued collaboration with U.S. partners. It gives an interactive look at evidence of the Muskie program's continuing impact, including updates on:

- Maksym Klyuchar, who is advancing gender equality in Ukraine for the European Union-United Nations Development Program Equal Opportunities and Women's Rights Programme (UNDP EOWRP);

- Nikolay Matveev, who sparked further collaboration on health care reform between Harvard University and the Russian government and institutions of higher education; and

- Geniyat Issin, who produced an award-winning video on the role of corruption in Kazakhstan and how it hinders development.

The Muskie Program is a program of the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the U.S. Department of State and is implemented by IREX.
