As part of IREX’s expanding Middle East and North Africa (MENA) programming, IREX is pleased to announce the 2004 John J. and Nancy Lee Roberts Fellowship Program. This year’s program will support cutting-edge research on primary, secondary, and/or higher education in the MENA region.
IREX began its expansion into the MENA region in early 2001 when it joined the Middle East Studies Association and began pilot projects in Iran and Turkey.
IREX education programs give academics, teachers, students, administrators, policy makers, entrepreneurs, and other professionals in the United States and overseas the resources and opportunities they need to conduct innovative research; increase their professional knowledge and abilities; and advance their leadership skills.
The 2004 Roberts Fellowship program will provide a single grant for up to 12 months in length. IREX encourages collaborative research programs involving international colleagues.
