Come join our journey. Whether we currently work together, our paths crossed years ago, or we have yet to form a partnership, we hope this website will be valuable to you and provide better understanding about the work we’re so proud to be a part of.
The site is not just a technological upgrade for us. We see it as an opportunity to better engage those involved in our efforts and also those who are just curious or interested in finding out more and wanting to join in. Below are some of the features that we hope will help create a firmer connection with everyone striving to make a better world.
Research Library. Gathering all the research we’ve facilitated over the years is no mean task, but we’ve begun filling a library of research briefs, policy papers, and more. Research on the Holocaust in Soviet and Russian cinema? We’ve got it. The impact of electronic media on Armenia’s democratic transition? We’ve got that too. Browse the library for a unique collection of resources.
7 Focus Areas. Most people know us for our three core divisions of Civil Society Strengthening, Education, and Media Development, but these divisions encompass four other areas as well: Conflict Resolution, Gender, Technology for Development, and Youth. The new site provides clear information, news, and projects in each of these seven areas.
World Map of Activities. IREX is now a global organization. Take a look at any individual country or region to find out how we’re involved where you are.
Blog. Who better to write about our work than those who are directly involved? Read what our DC, expat, and local staff have to say about their activities.
I am continually impressed with the team we have here at IREX and look forward to the successes and the stories that this new site will make available. Join with us in making a better world!
