Global UGRAD-Pakistan Video Contest Winners Announced

IREX is pleased to announce the Spring 2011 winners of the “Day in the Life of a Global UGRAD-Pakistan Fellow” video competition. Farhan, studying at Augustana College, and Fahad, studying at the College of Southern Idaho, submitted outstanding videos presenting their experiences at a US college or university and their understanding of American culture and values. Their videos were selected for their creativity and clarity in demonstrating both the uniqueness and breadth of their American experiences. Click below to watch the winning videos.

Farhan and Fahad were selected from a large pool of fellows who entered videos of ten minutes or less sharing their experience in the US. The winners, along with other fellows who entered into the competition, will go back to Pakistan and share their videos with their communities. By showcasing a day in the American life, fellows will serve as Cultural Ambassadors back home in Pakistan.

The Global Undergraduate Exchange Program in Pakistan is funded by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, United States Department of State, and administered by IREX.
