October 31st marked the 10th anniversary of UN Security Council Resolution 1325, which calls on the international community to recognize the different impacts of conflict on women and men, and to engage women in decision making processes of conflict resolution and peacebuilding.
In observance of this historic occasion, we invite you to a panel discussion that reflects upon the experiences of women peacebuilders in the field and the different approaches that are being used to incorporate them in the decision making process.
The panel will include:

Katherine Blakeslee: Director of Women in Development (WID) at USAID
Dr. Adina Friedman: Professor of Conflict Analysis and Resolution at the Elliott School of International Affairs
