Azeri Finance Fellow at the University of Utah Attends the 6th US-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce (USACC)

On April 27th Saida Mammadova, an Azeri fellow in the MS Finance program at the University of Utah, attended the 6th US-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce (USACC) Business and Investment Conference. The theme of the conference was "US-Azerbaijan Strategic Relations: Political and Commercial Priorities." During the conference speakers discussed the current state of economic and business relations, as well as how to deepen these relationships in the future. Ms. Mammadova had the opportunity to meet various distinguished guests at the banquet following the conference, including President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijani Ambassador to the United States Hafiz Pashayev, and US Ambassador to Azerbaijan Reno Harnish. According to Ms. Mammadova, the conference “considerably contributed to my professional development. I made lots of professional contacts and learned more about the current needs and intentions of the business people with regard to the Azerbaijan economy.”
