TITLE: Development Coordinator
DIVISION: Development

SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Development Coordinator assists program and development staff in the proposal development process. The coordinator will have primary responsibility for coordinating budget design for proposal initiatives. Conducting research, writing and editing proposal narratives and concept papers, and assisting with the development and maintenance of the cost and pricing data for proposal budgets are critical elements of this job.

Principle responsibilities include:

  • Organizational support and coordination for program staff and partners in proposal preparation
  • Development and coordination of proposal budgets and their inputs
  • Coordination of proposal support documents and materials
  • Coordination with partner organizations
  • Maintenance of division files and materials

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Demonstrated budgeting, and spreadsheet manipulation skills
  • Excellent writing and editing skills
  • Experience/familiarity with international funding agencies and donors
  • Interest/background in international development
  • Ability to work in a team environment
