Current Host Opportunities for ILEP:

IREX invites proposals from U.S. universities to host the International Leaders in Education Program (ILEP), a semester-long professional development program for secondary school teachers sponsored by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the U.S. Department of State.

The ILEP Program will bring approximately 75 international teachers from 13 countries to the United States for a professional development opportunity from January-May, 2013. IREX anticipates awarding sub-agreement(s) of no greater than $175,000 to U.S. university(s) to host approximately fifteen (15) ILEP Fellows for a non-credit, non-degree, semester-long, intensive professional development program. Please see the RFP for further information. We kindly ask that you submit your proposal to IREX no later than Sunday, May 20th 2012 at midnight Eastern Time. IREX maintains a registry of interested US colleges and universities who would like to apply for subgrants to host international teachers from a variety of programs, including the International Leaders in Education Program and the Teaching Excellence and Achievement Programs (Global, Turkey, and Pakistan).
